ANXIETY
Bless you Brothers and Sisters in Christ, may the name of the Lord be praise forever. It’s a great honour for me to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with you this week. Today the topic of our message is ANXIETY
According to the bible in the book of Philippians 4:4-7 “ Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.,
Brethren, Anxiety comes when we are face with challenges and difficulties in life . Anxiety has to do with problems, it has to do with fear. It has to do with uncertainty. We become unsure what is going to happen to us or what will happen tomorrow. we can no longer think straight and reason well.
Anxiety wins when we fail to open up our mouth in prayer. Anxiety take over our heart and mind and overcome us when we refuse to pray and communicate with God. And because of us refusal to pray fervently to God, we suffer in silence, we suffer in pain. We suffer in sickness and in difficulties.
Brethren, remember the devil cannot stop what God had started in our lives, the enemy cannot stop the blessings of God in our lives. Whatever God had started in our lives cannot be stop by the powers of darkness. Because he whom God’s hand is upon cannot be curse, though they may curse, but the curse will surely return to the one who send it. But when we refuse to pray, the devil frustrate every good thing the good Lord has given to us. Then we become afraid and anxiety comes in.
Brethren I pray today that you will go on your knee and pray to God fervently and rebuke the devil out of your life. Remember our God hears prayer. And always know that the Lord loves you first before you start loving him. May his peace be with you always.
